August 2015: National Service Dogs

Since 1996, NSD has graduated over 555 certified service dog, facility and companion dog teams, helped many service dog organizations around the world start their own autism programs, and has started three new programs certified service dogs for PTSD, Companionship and assisted intervention. 


 

November 2015: Waterloo Region Hospice

Hospice Waterloo Region holds as a core value that death is a natural conclusion of life and that hospice palliative care neither prolongs nor hastens a natural death. The model of care that is delivered by Hospice Waterloo Region is based on recognition that hospice palliative care is “Whole Person” care focused on supporting and improving the quality of life for persons who are living with or dying from advanced illness, and for those who are bereaved by the loss of a loved one.


 

February 2016: Interfaith Community Counselling

The Interfaith Counselling Centre has been serving the needs of individuals, couples and families for over 30 years.


 

May 2016: Morningstar

Morningstar provides the support and guidance people need to help people in their daily lives, from feeding programs to housing initiatives.


 

August 2017: Waterloo Oxford Student Assistance Fund

Supporting needs and gaps identified in the school to support students.


 

November 2017: Wilmot Family Resource Centre

To respond to the needs of individuals and families within Wilmot through resident-centered planning and the provision of innovative programs, services and supports.


 

February 2018: Carizon

Carizon is a source of hope for our community. When children, youth, adults, couples or families face life’s challenges, Carizon programs and services provide the care and compassion to help them achieve wellness. Carizon specializes in children’s mental health, youth engagement and development, family violence, individual and family counselling.


 

May 2018: The Community Players

The Community Players of New Hamburg, or more affectionately, TCP. Considered by many to be one of the finest community theatre organizations in Ontario, TCP continues to present large-scale musical Theatre.
