November 2020: Woman's Crisis Services

In partnership with the community, Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region empowers and supports women and children to move beyond violence and abuse through the provision of safe shelter, education and outreach services. Women’s Crisis Services operates two emergency shelters.


 

February 2021: Community Care Concepts

Community Care Concepts provides high quality support services throughout Wilmot. This enables seniors and special needs clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. Community Care Concepts is a non-profit volunteer based organization.


 

May 2021: The Pregnancy Centre

They envision a community where every person who is pregnant or parenting in crisis has the resources and support needed to thrive and experience a hope-filled future.


 

August 2021: Front Door

They are your starting point for accessing child and youth mental health services and supports in Waterloo Region.


 

November 2021: Bereaved Families of Ontario

At Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region, their mission is to create an empathetic community of peer support and education for individuals and families who are grieving. They help the bereaved so that no one has to walk alone on their journey of grief.


 

February 2022: Grand River Hospital Foundation

At Grand River Hospital Foundation, they dedicate themselves to our great community by working in partnership with people from all walks of life to make every health care experience exceptional.


 

May 2022: Child Witness Centre

They provide support, education and advocacy to young people who are victims or witnesses of abuse or crime, and their families, in Waterloo Region.


 

May 2022: KW Habilitation

KW Habilitation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities. A good life is fostered through early learning supports, respite services, residential services, community involvement and employment supports.
